David's Musings

Apologies are due to readers for the lack of posting yesterday pm and today but as will, no doubt, be realized I have been rather involved with events following my first post on this subject.

A certain amount of ‘detective work’ has been – and, as I write, is still being – undertaken which has resulted in what may be termed interesting and intriguing facts being uncovered, about which I shall be shortly posting.

Stay tuned – as they say…………………

    Apologies are quite unnecessary.

It’s encouraging to hear news of your progress, I will certainly look forward to you next post.

  2. A K Haart says:

    I echo Desperate Den. Intriguing.

You most certainly need not apologise, David. You must spend as much time as necessary progressing your case. If nothing else I have found that when dealing with any institution or officialdom in modern Britain unless you are prepared to argue very robustly you will simply be ridden down without thought or care. The concept of fair play or honest dealing has been expunged from this country, remaining only among a few individuals.

  4. Blogged.

Interesting innit. Will start cross-checking those names.

    Mind how you go.

  5. Amongst the interesting things is that the letter isn’t signed by a named solicitor. The chances are that the reference LC refers to Lisa Clough who is in the dispute resolution section, but perhaps not.

It might be worth checking the authorship of the letter because if I was looking to resolve this dispute, I wouldn’t go about it this way.

Perhaps the impressive senior partner, Nick Davenport, can clarify matters. His contact details are here.

  6. No apologies necessary, give ’em hell WfW
