Following the raison-dêtre of the European Union we are now to have a “European Railway” with the news of the Fourth Railway Package, one announced by Siim Kallas.
Nothing like keeping the project of ever closer union on track – is there?
And people are already complaining about high rail fares? And still our politicians would have us believe they govern our country?

The Fourth Rail package is interesting. More business for Siemens and perhaps a bit for the French. We will perhaps get to supply the wheel barrows and some of the men to push them.
